About
I’ve been a full time professional photographer for 30 years.
During that time I’ve been a newspaper staff photographer (which included covering most of the animal stories) and then a freelancer - which I still am - for publications, organisations, charities and commercial clients.
At one time or another I’ve been published in every national newspaper (including some that don’t exist any more), numerous regional titles and magazines.
You can see my current commercial work, which is now primarily for health and care sectors, along with a list of clients and credits at www.edmaynard.com.
In 2020 I moved to rural Staffordshire with the aim of focusing on the subjects that initially triggered my interest in photography - specifically animals.
Earlier this year I married Pam, a former Team GB equestrian, and we are currently busy completing the restoration of a 250+ year old cottage. We are usually assisted by Woody our 15 year old Jack Russell (whose brother Buzz is now sadly missed), along with rescue cats Kevin and Tabby.
